Aggressive and visionary Board of Directors that are engaged
and focused on providing value to the members and the
member companies. Our membership increased 20% in 2001,
our financial position is outstanding, we maintain $1M
in General Liability Insurance for all activities, and
have bonded all Board members.
The past two years our affiliate has funded the attendance
of the entire Board at the Leadership Conference and upon
returning, reported to the membership their learnings
including our first Mission, Vision, Objectives and Measurables
Statements in 2001.
Scholarships awarded annually to members for continuing
education or the children of our members.
Professional development through four (4) Satellite Seminars
offered through ISM (no cost to members) and Supply Chain
Management one day classes (low cost for members) designed
to be leading edge educational opportunities.
Our affiliate participated in the Georgia Minority Supplier
Development Councils Business Opportunity Expo in
August, 2002, and will be hosting a Diversity Expo in
2003 to promote both supplier and member diversity.
Library of C.P.M. / A.P.P. study materials that are available
to our membership. In 2001, we increased certification
among our members by 25%. Additionally, we offer study
groups and mentoring for those studying for certification.
Dynamic and progressive website that includes our newsletter,
membership information, employment opportunities, history
of the affiliate, and a secure Members Only
section.
Monthly meetings that are diverse, dynamic, educational,
well orchestrated, and FUN.
Volunteer recognition programs.
Leadership development opportunities through our Board
