Who is eligible to join NAPM-West Georgia (NAPM-WG)?
Membership in NAPM-WG is open to anyone involved in the purchasing or materials process, including without limitation:
- Purchasing
- Purchasing Research
- Value Analysis
- Inventory Control
- Materials Management
- Supply Chain Management, or any other activity or function related to the purchasing or materials process.
The following individuals are also eligible:
Full-time teachers, research specialists, department heads, directors or deans of a college, university, or other academic institution whose academic responsibility includes purchasing management or materials management or other related fields or subjects.
Full-time undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in an accredited community college or four-year college or university.
Consultants in the purchasing management or materials management fields on the condition that such person does not solicit members of an Affiliate for consulting engagements.
Editors, secretaries, or business managers employed by an Affiliate.
Diverse Membership:
In principle and practice, NAPM-WG values and seeks a diverse membership and volunteer leadership. There are no barriers to full participation in NAPM-WG on the basis of ethnic background, gender, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, or disability.
